BizServ Concept

You start off as the "Lone Wolf". Everything that happens in your company is done by you. Soon you grow to the point where you have to "tell someone what to do" by instructing employees to carry out your bidding. The next hurdle is the one that most small companies can never get past. The "tell someone to tell someone, what to do" phase. I started my first business when I was eighteen years old. Thirty years later I still found myself always so busy working in my business, I couldn't find the time to work on my business. I hired "consultants" that came in, studied my operations and then gave me a report telling me things I already knew. I knew my business needed structure and systems. Finding the time and resources to perfect and implement those systems was the help I needed.

That's when the idea of BizServ first came to me. I thought if there was an entity that would help small business with the "working on the business" tasks I couldn't make time for, it would be a success and it could help so many small business owners realize their dreams of true success. So with that in mind, ten years ago I started BizServ. The charter of BizServ is really very simple; we are in business to help small business. We don't have a book to sell you or a program for a one size fits all approach to business management. Whether it's a formal system put in place as a procedure or a system evolved by employees over time, everything that a business does can be broken down into systems. Because business owners are all so individually different with different talents and strengths, we help you identify your strengths and weaknesses and put a system in place that is easy and effective.

IT (Information Technology) is the heart of most business systems today. In the early 1980's, after showing the salesman how it worked, I bought my first totally integrated accounting system. After that experience I decided to be my companies IT administrator. The key thing I've learned about IT over the years is that its real goal is self serving. It's not about IT making your job easier, it is about how much they can charge you for the same old stuff over and over again. BizServ can cut through the IT clutter and make IT systems perform the tasks you need when you need them. BizServ excels at leveraging your existing hardware, finding you the perfect software and insuring that they work together.
